Critsing

1.     What time period do you think the photograph was taken? Give reasons for your answer.
1970’s. the style of the image, looks like it is from the 70’s. (Late 70’s)

2.     What do you think was the genre/subject?
It is about a documentary of the working class people.

3.     Are the elements in the shot balanced?
I think it is an Estimating shot image, the image as some light in the image. It shows the rule of thirds in the image, with the balance elements on the people, the pool & sky.

4.     What message could the photograph be trying to convey?
Butlins is fun place to go.

5.     Do you notice anything striking about the shot?
The really bright colors.

6.     Do you think consent was needed from the subjects?

Not in the 70’s, but now only if it was a private venue with rules against it.

7.     What is the viewpoint?
It your own point of view. It is the angle of the shot. It is from an eye level view point, also from a corner,

8.     If you were to produce this shot what would you do differently?

Take it from different angles like I would take it from the tram, looking down onto the pool. I would take the mushroom guy out, because the mushroom guy is annoying. I probably edit in Photoshop.
